The spring is called the king of seasons. From the Panchami of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Magh, the spring of the king of the seasons begins. This day marks the arrival of new season. That is why it is considered the first day of the arrival of Rituraj Spring and also it is the day of the birth anniversary of Maa Saraswati.

From this day the beauty of nature starts to shine. The old leaves of the trees fall and new leaves of new pink color fascinate them. This day is celebrated as worship of Maa Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom, knowledge and art.

After the creation of the world, when Lord Vishnu came to know that during the creation period of the world, the human that Brahma created by the command of Lord Vishnu was amazing but he was not satisfied with his creation.

Then he took orders from Vishnu and sprinkled water from his kamandala on the earth, which began to vibrate on the earth and manifested a beautiful power as a quadrilateral beautiful goddess.

Whose one hand was Veena and the other hand was in Vara Mudra. There were books and garlands in the other two hands. When this goddess gave Veena the melodious voice, then all creatures of the world got the voice, then Brahma called that goddess Saraswati, the goddess of speech. And because of the boon received from Lord Krishna, they will be worshiped on the day of Basant Panchami.
