Eid Essay

 

Each society has its own different customs and their importance also varies. People celebrate festivals to express their happiness together. Festivals deviate from the everyday routine and create new enthusiasm to work in us. Some festivals are religious, some cultural and some national, which people of every section of the society celebrate together.

The festival of 'Eid' is celebrated on the first date of the Islamic month of Shawwal. It is preceded by the month of Ramadan, which the Muslim brothers consider a very holy month. They fast this whole month. Nothing is eaten from sunrise to sunset. Roza (fasting) is opened after sunset which is called 'Roza-Iftari'. Throughout the day, recite 'Quran Sharif' and offer Namaz as a rule. Throughout the month, they live a holy life and help the poor and the oppressed.

At the end of the month of Ramadan, Roza (fasting) is concluded by observing the moon of Eid. The 'first moon' that appears after the rozary is called the moon of Eid. This is a very beautiful moon for Muslims. On the second day after the Eid moon appears, take a new bath in the morning and go to mosques and Eidgah to offer Namaz.

All together thank Allah (God) that He gave them life, power to keep fasting. Later, Eid Mubarakada embraces. Eid Mubarak's fair is held. They go to greet each other's house 'Eid'.

Sewaiya and sweets are eaten and fed. Sewaiya is the favorite dish of this festival. The view of mosques is worth seeing at night and fireworks are also done to make this day special.

In the month of Ramadan, people believe that by fasting, their soul is paak (purified) and liberated from the dojat (hell). The festival of 'Eid' is celebrated in this happiness.
